In addition to this high quality care for our patients, we employ a unique office structure to allow for maximum flexibility, convenient prescription handling, decreased missed work or school, and manageable financial consideration through a clinic membership program.
After initial evaluation, if you have ADHD and choose to join our clinic membership program, we will work to see you and treat you on a schedule that works for you. You will have access to a members only phone (for calls or texts) and email. Members can contact us with questions or can be seen as often as necessary to fine tune the ideal treatment plan. Only one, in office, doctor visit per year is required, but frequent communication will be employed.
If our members require prescription medication, we can send them directly, by computer, to the pharmacy of their choice. So after any needed dose adjustment, we can send your prescription. Then you just need to swing by your pharmacy to pick it up. No mail, no coming by the office, no extended waiting at the pharmacy.
Because of our flexible program for our members and convenient prescription handling, our members find that they make fewer trips to see the doctor or doctor’s office. If your treatment is stable, we can communicate by phone, text or email and then rewrite your prescription. You can just swing by your pharmacy after work or school. Make YOUR treatment fit YOUR schedule.
We require payment for the initial evaluation with the doctor. Initial evaluation includes exam, collection and review of ADHD rating scales, QbTest with interpretation, consultation with patient and family, and follow up communication with primary care physician. The cost for this comprehensive work up is $400 (student and military discounts available). Focused Adult will gladly give you the office visit and testing codes to file with your health insurance. Following the initial evaluation, our membership program costs $39 per month. This membership allows for communication or appointments with our staff and prescriptions, if needed. For our uninsured patients, this cost is far less than frequent office visits to their regular doctor’s office. For our patients with insurance, this price is comparable to a copay on office visits with their traditional insurance.
